Technical description
- Construction of a treatment-wing and conversions with function adjustment
- New hospital building with accommodation facilities for about 200 beds, set in 6 different wards, one intensive and recovery area with six operating theatres and one maternity ward
- Extension building with a helicopter pad on the third floor
- Underpinning of the existing building with deep-anchored DSI-supports
- Internal access via the central lift unit
- The rectangular shaped building includes two roofless courtyards
- Reinforced concrete flat slabs enable changing and flexible space usage with high installation density
- High demands on flexibility of the ceiling in the treatment areas (such as CT-room, radiology, …)
- High resistance to torsional stiffness for the entire building for derivation of seismic loads
- Long span bridge to the helicopter pad
- Development of existing buildings with underpinning and enforcement of the foundation while ongoing operation
- Excavation support inclusive underpinning to neighboring properties
